Cette communication envisage les chanteurs comme des agents culturels d’une même communauté, des agents de la tradition orale réunionnaise qui interagissent et se répondent. Il est question ici de rendre lisible la forte intertextualité qui existe dans le domaine de la chanson réunionnaise, en suivant le fil de la question du vivre-ensemble et de l’identité telle qu’elle s’énonce en musique et de manière littéraire au fil du vingtième siècle. In popular Reunionese songs, singers express themselves as a Creole subject to tell the world and to tell themselves. This communication considers the singers as cultural agents of the same community, agents of the Reunion oral tradition who interact and respond to each other.
