Autrement dit, dans un contexte régional où subsistent des différends liés à la présence de la France sur certains espaces, l’évolution de la place de La Réunion dans les organisations régionales de l’océan Indien dépend avant tout de considérations politiques, le cadre juridique étant suffisamment « flexible » pour la permettre.
